Properties:
Light yellow brownish powder, grain. Bitter taste, Specific
gravity: 1.34--1.40, soluble in benzene, acetone, methyl
alcohol; insoluble in water.
Application:
An excellent delayed accelerator. The
performance is similar to that of CZ displaying better
scorch safety. Widely apply in NR, IR, SBR, NBR and
EPDM. Apply alone or with those vulcanization accelerators
such as thiurams, guanidines and dithiocarbamates to
improve the activity, mainly use in manufacture of tires,
shoes and belts, non-blooming. Not recommended to apply
in beverage and food containers because of the bitterness
of the product after vulcanization.
